DriveDeck
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how DriveDeck handles information when you use the app and its pairing pages.
What DriveDeck does
DriveDeck lets you open Google Drive folders on a TV, create pairing codes, and browse or play supported photos and videos from those folders.
Information DriveDeck processes
- Google Drive folder links that you paste into the pairing page or app.
- Short pairing codes generated to connect your phone and TV.
- Basic folder and media metadata needed to show your content.
- Temporary server logs and technical request data used to operate the service.
How information is used
DriveDeck uses this information only to provide the app’s core functionality, including:
- validating Google Drive folder links,
- creating and resolving pairing codes,
- loading folder contents for browsing and slideshow playback, and
- serving the phone pairing interface.
Storage and retention
Temporary pairing codes may be stored for a limited time so the app can connect your phone and TV. Permanent codes, when created by the user, may remain stored until deleted or replaced. Google Drive links are used only for the app workflow and are not sold or used for advertising.
Third-party services
DriveDeck may rely on third-party services such as:
- Google Drive APIs to read public folder and media information,
- Firebase / Firestore for pairing-code storage, and
- Render for application hosting.
Data sharing
DriveDeck does not sell personal information. Data is shared only with the services needed to operate the app.
Children’s privacy
DriveDeck is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
